Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has the ox stopped rolling yet?

    Just can't trust the Ox.

    All pace, no touch

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 789 ✭✭✭Fakman87

What happened to Ox? He seems to be following the trend of English players who look exceptional at 19 and are mediocre at 22.

Seriously sell the useless whatever he is.

I think he was rolling to avoid a booking!

Peaked a a few years ago. No game intelligence, no nerve.

It's reasonable observation, have you heard of it" But then you use the word butthurt....

You say reasonable, but it doesn't make it so

Ox probably just injuried himself and will be out for months

Never a foul on Ground, ref giving nothing to Barcelona.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,519 ✭✭✭Flint Fredstone

    Ref is cat.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,745 ✭✭✭✭AdamD

No bias, just a bad ref.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,855 ✭✭✭irishguitarlad

That was no free on giroud there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,294 ✭✭✭tanko

I couple more rolls and Ox will be in the car park.

He was looking up in between rolls to see if the ref was watching and then faked injury.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,458 ✭✭✭✭gandalf

FFS the TV3 commentary team are nearly fapping everytime they are talking about Barcelona!

Oh I see, you're one of those Irish football fans who supports a continental team over a premiership club. How edgy.

Unfortunately, this is the case. It might come across as bias towards Barca but that's just because their selling a better package to the ref.

Based on this performance alone, you would not believe for a second that Barca were a team that are likely to complete a second consecutive treble. Arsenal have made this game sh*te. Barca have been sh*te.

    Chelsea

    And

    Barcelona

    Yeah I know.

And you're an Irish lad who acts like your Premiership team's ground is just across the road. The difference is the football I watch each week is the best football there is.

I agree. Arsenal scoring would have livened it up.

Not really. Supporting a prem team from a young age is culturally prevalent in Ireland. Choosing to support a continental team is a fairly conscious, "against the grain" decision.

Major let off there! Saurez should have had a go himself!

    Great pass from Alves there.

Nil all at HT. Happy with that.

11 men behind the ball every time Barca have the ball does not make for a pretty watch. It has worked out quite well for Arsenal seeing as they're not behind but it has been a pretty horrible game to watch for the neutral. Arsenal quite content to sit back let Barca have the ball, and hope to catch them on the break. Those breaks coincidentally the only interesting things that have happened in this match. Messi, Neymar and Suarez have not been at it at all.

Who cares who he supports! He is perfectly entitled to support who he wants.

I only started supporting Arsenal because my neighbour supported Spurs. 36 years later here I am clutching a beer ranting at the telly! That fecker next door has a lot to answer for :D

    x2 in fairness.

The header and attempting to square it.

Happy enough with that effort against TGTTEW (c) so far.

Were you actually being serious when you say it's different for an Irish man to support a Spanish side than to support an English side?
    Cause that's just idiotic.
