My recent build has windows 10 on ssd and a 3TB HGST enterprise drive that is nearly full - starts up really quickly

However I added a green 4TB Western Digital and now startup up time takes over a minute - 3TB of the 4TB is used - any ideas why startup has reduced so dramatically?

Thanks for any help - it is really appreciated

What is on the 4tb WD drive? Are their old windows files?

Hi - no the 4TB WD is formatted to NTFS and it is just a backup of everything on the 3TB

Did you remove the hdd from the boot order?

Thank you so much - I disabled both the 3TB and 4TB and it booted in 17 seconds - delighted! Thank you so much for all your help guys.
