Insurance for teenager riding own pony.

    We are lucky enough to have medical cards but should I take out insurance as well? If so, with whom?

    What cover are you looking for, public liability or cover for the child?

    BHS Gold Membership. They do junior packages too AFAIK. Most standard health insurances don't cover 'dangerous sports'.

    BHS is only 3rd party liability! Allianz do horse + rider insurance

    Actually, it includes personal accident cover up to £10k. See here

    OP if you're unsure give both Allianz and BHS a call to compare. Both are extremely helpful.
