Description of Campagnolo Hyperon Ultra Two Wheelset Tubular (brake pads included - not cassette)
The Hyperon Ultra Two tubular wheelset with carbon hub and rim. While being the lightest wheel in the range and one of the lightest racing wheels of all, it offers strength characteristics at the absolute level which are truly incredible for its weight. It is a wheel built to achieve the same specifications of power, strength and rigidity of all the other Campagnolo wheels with the added benefit of an even longer cycle of resistance to fatigue, thanks to the extraordinary characteristics of the material used. The Ultra Two version is characterized by the adoption of a monolithic light-alloy freewheel body and by the use of lighter counternuts wich saves weight. A pair of carbon-fiber wheels weighs 300 grams less than a standard aluminium pair. 300 grams that make themselves felt at the first attempt to accelerate or the first burst uphill. One simple pedal stroke is followed by a lightning reaction. The ease with which the pace changes is incredible. The rims and hubs are made from full carbon. The rear rim is asymmetrical to improve wheel dish. The Ultralinear spoking presents butted aero spokes. This wheelset were demo wheels in Pinarello Show room in Treviso (Wheels for test bike) . approx 2000 km .
