Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just use your legs. No need to jump to the ground like that.

Stupid from Moreno, but it was 100% a dive.

Stupid tackle from Moreno, Aguero deliberately played his played his leg into Moreno though, but it could still easily have been given without too much complaint. I don't think it was a pen though in reality. Moreno really is brainless though, a regular scarecrow.

Morenos head is gone... but we don't have any real leader out there to calm him down... :(

This is where Michael Owen would talk in great length about the distance from goal, and getting the ball up and down. Without fail.

Can't blame Moreno for that Aguero challenge. Did great to get back, and then he had to take the risk and throw the leg out or it was a certain goal. Got lucky.

    That Moreno lad is cat.

    He is a poor player.

Might have a future somewhere else.

He isn't a defender. I don't think there is any influence another player can have that would sort this.

Why do people keep responding to him every week. He's putting in a better shift than Fred and Mick.

    Embarrassing from Aguerrrrrooooo.

Can you please tell me what firmino has contributed to this match bring on benteke for something different

    city robbed there
Shocking decision by Oliver. With that, and the sitter missed by Raheem, we should be over the horizon and out of sight by now.

Yes, but it's Mignolet not Mingnolet as many seem to think.

We'll have to disagree. I think he's one of our best outlets. He's a bit ropey at the back at times but most modern day full backs are. Being solid isn't their job anymore. Cafu changed that.

It's what he's capable of is the important thing. Benteke offers nothing. Firmino is still capable of doing something special.

From watching both the Utd v Arsenal and Liverpool v City game back to back, the amount of diving and feigning injury has seriously gotten out of hand

Really need to start using video technology to sort it out

It'd be different but not in a better way. Benteke is poison for us at this stage. Origi to come on soon I reckon.

No kuyt when you need him

Sturridges link play is fantastic, but he needs a focal point. He is better playing off another forward. I would bring Benteke on

Hopefully it is Milner going off for Lallana, but I doubt it.

Is Daniel Sturridge playing? If Man City can get a second, I can't see Liverpool coming back.

    Cafu could defend.

The world and its dog know that City defend the 18 yard line with their lives, yet nobody is threatening in behind. Not even Sturridge.

    It's fúcking lunacy.

Cant cross or defend......constantly out of position and no end product, he's been a liability here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,948 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Even less pace in the team now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,308 ✭✭✭Pyjamarama

    Cafu could defend.

Of course he could... thats not my point. My point is that he changed the position from being a defensive one to being more of an attacking outlet. Obv the development of tactics also had a huge role in it too.

    Utter liability.

Absolute hyperbole mentioning Cafu in the same post.

The man is headless. Even with a ball his crosses are always wayward and he runs into deadends.

I'm a negative Cnut but we are horrific
No creativity no pace no idea leaderless

Nobody on our team can cross... prob cause when they look up nobody is in the middle. And he's got caught out of position a good bit but we've nobody there to tell him where to go. We need to sign a leader badly. The young lads in the team need one. Henderson is not that player and never will be. In fact i think the captaincy has ruined his liverpool career long term as he'd be a good squad option but shouldn't be a first name on the team sheet, Klopp will replace him and that'll prob be that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,363 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

Our players really are bang average.

Simple passes going astray, and the ball just bouncing off players.

Clyne has done well whenever I've seen him, liverpool's player of the season.

Why do people do this nonsense? He wasn't comparing him to Cafu. You know that. I know that. The thread knows that. So why pretend he was????
