I'm not comparing him to Cafu, that'd be madness. My point is simply that a full backs main role in modern football is to provide an outlet. And Moreno does a good job at that. Most of our best play came down his side.

That wasn't my point. My point was that the most important thing for a full back now is to be an outlet.

Was what Moreno did wrong much worse than the two free kicks Clynne gave away in the first half in dangerous positions? And where was Clynne when Sterling was putting it wide unmarked from 6 yards?

Moreno has a rep and people overreact to mistakes he makes. That being said his head was gone.
