Apologies if this is old news to all you Leaf veterans out there but as a new leaf owner I have been hunting for a good EV trip planning tool and found this one which seems quite good :

If there is a better one out there please let us newbies know :)

I have used it a lot. There are a few issues, though. It is not realistic in calculating the charging times. Also, it is sensitive to the "range" you input—it is not sensitive to the speed at which you drive. It cannot calculate routes with waypoints (the Nissan Connect EV one online does that very well). And if your route cannot be made at all, it still shows it without a warning. :)

I much prefer the Nissan one, especially as it shows battery levels remaining, is pretty accurate in incorporating the altitude and speed information, and I can send the complete, complex route to the car, which saves a ton of time of not clicking the screen and its menu labyrinth.

I have yet to get that work, it just comes up as "Service cannot be provided" - I have assumed that this is related to my TCU issue - once the TCU is replaced I hope it will be OK.

Indeed, it was not working for me before I got the new TCU. It is flaky, best used on a desktop, but managing on an iPad too. Sometimes needs a page refresh to come up. When it works it is by far the most appropriate one for my routes.
