Comrac medal restoration

I have a family War of Independence medal with Comrac bar. The ribbon/cloth was damaged years ago and I'd like to get it restored. Any suggestions of where I could get it done? Huge sentimental value attached so I need somewhere reputable. No idea where to start looking.

you can get a replacement ribbon on ebay ! but I wouldn't try and clean it !
