need new screen but ....

    I've an old motog 2nd gen and the LCD is broke on it. Was going to do away with it and bin it but I need to get some old work pictures and numbers out of it. Im wanting to know where's best and cheapest place/way to get these from the phone.

    Where were they stored? Backed up to google /dropbox/other app?

    Are your numbers and pics synced up to Google? You could check by logging into gmail and checking for the contacts and Google photos for the pics.

    Do they automatically go there or do I have to update it. I'm near sure my girlfriend done this when the phone was bought.

    Might be cheapest option if you were handy enough with some small screwdrivers. I'd check they come with the screen though, more often than not they do.



    Might just have to go down that route :(

    If you signed into your Google account (which I presume you did to use play store etc) then your contacts will be backed up to Google. Sign into your gmail account and check contacts to see if they are there. Same with photos they may have uploaded but that would have needed to have been switched on. You may have been promoted and forgot about it. On your laptop sign into Google photos a d see if anything shows up.

    Can't remember the google account or password :( think it's in the phone
