I did this last year and it's a great event. For those new to trail running, its an ideal introduction.

I hope the trail dries out by April as its in very bad condition right now from all the flooding.

Anyone been up on this spot and know what condition the trail is in? Considering signing up but if the trail is a wash out I may not.

    Good to know.
Just signed up this morning (even though I'm the OP).

Heard they have about 150 entries this year.

The weather should be perfect for the post race BBQ!

    280+ entrants in the end.

Lovely scenic run but the last 1km was tricky enough trail section with a few too many tree roots for my liking.

Saying that the BBQ with tea & cake afterwards more than made up for it.
