Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi lads, I've a quick question here. I need the dongle for the 360 wireless pad, just not sure which one to get, the official MS one or is a third party dongle good enough as well? Would use it for the pad and a 360 fighting stick as well. Thanks!

    I had an official one, which died, so I replaced it with a third party one no issues

    forget where I got it from though, sorry

    A third party one will be fine if you can't get an offical one.
    Lots of places sell them, like eBay for approx €8 delivered;

    It'll come with a CD but you don't really need it, you can get it going by going to; Device Manager, find the 'Unspecified Device', click update driver, select 'Let me pick from a list' and choose 'Microsoft Controller' & then 'Xbox 360 Wireless receiver for Windows'.
    It'll use the official driver built into Windows for it instead of the cd one.

    If you have your old dongle you can easily fix it by soldering the fuse( which is crap and blows plugging it/unplugging it ). Both of mine died due to the fuse and I fixed them.

    Then again if you done have one already my advice is rubbish lol

    Ignoring idiots who comment "far right" because they don't even know what it means

    Thanks, I found out my friend in Austria has one he doesn't use, so he's gonna send it to me, I think it Microsoft's. So far I've been using the wired pad, but wireless would be more convenient. Any issues with input lag/disconnecting/sync/etc? Or does it work as nicely as with 360 console?
