Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Joe Allen to provide some Pirloesque magic

No doubt Pellegrini will use that as an excuse. But the incentive was there at KO with Leicester dropping points last night. And now, Arsenal and Spurs both losing only makes me feel worse.

Is it just me, or do we seem to keep the ball moving a bit quicker without Coutinho for some weird reason?

We do, but I think its also a fact of not having the number 10s all in the same area of the pitch, and Origi stretching the defence up top. Firmino drops deep a lot and doesn't quite provide that direct focal point.

Too late; we've taken the p1ss ourselves with our (non)performance.

Very surprising performance from City. There should be no hangover or tiredness from Sunday, there was still an outside chance of City winning the league.

Kolo Toure, Liverpool's most consistent defender for me. I hope Klopp doesn't drop him

Disappointing? Most definitely. Surprising? Unfortunately not, not this season anyway.

Do you think the string in his back needs changing often? Would he get a full season out of one?

Its because the whole team defends as a unit. Defenders look good when the other outfielders actually help them. They look poor when they don't. He hasn't changed as a player.

And of course we barely register a chance once Benteke comes on.

He made his fair share of individual mistakes aswell though, and looked terrified in possession more than half the time....

Amazing result, very happy. hate city and the way the club is run, completely broken imo.
Lallana finally showing up! Origi was really good too, could have a big future ahead of him.
