Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So the mothers dog is having a hard time last couple of days. He keeps shaking his head and whinging and cant settle down to sleep. Kept her up all last night so we took to the vet today and she said he's fine, no temperature, no sign of infection and she cleaned his ears out. Trouble is he still can't settle and the mother is freaking out. Keeps shaking his head and only settles when you rub his ears for a bit. Anyone deal with anything similar or got any ideas. Could there be a sound problem that we cant hear? Scrapping the barrel I know.

Did the vet check inside the dog's mouth for anything caught between the teeth?
If the dog is still so upset, it's either a return trip to the vet, or a 2nd opinion. He can't be left as is anyway :(

What age and breed is the dog? Cav or cav cross by any chance?

Ah ok, there is a pretty serious disease in Cavs that causes head shaking. It's not very common in other breeds.
