Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Elneny looks better than any of our centre mids at the club.

There's been 2 goals in the last 5 Hull games. Reckon there could be something better to watch on this Tuesday night

Love the new tactics. Giroud on the wing, putting in crosses.

    Great save Ospina.

Thought that could've been play on, the lad who got to the rebound was on and the guy in the middle got behind him, is that a new phase?
Good save Ospina though. Though Elneny's clearance attempt was a good laugh.

Luckily we have some great quality CB coverage when the usual injuries strike.......

    Conor Sammon.

Dire stuff so far. If Hull get decent possession they'll be through the middle of us.

    I'd rather Gary Breen.

Dreadful stuff. How can professional footballers be so poor at delivering a corner kick?

    1-0 Giroud.
Back pass from Hull defender to Giroud and he slots it home.

He is in for a roasting off Wenger at half time :pac:

    Bruce went close there.

I have to say he is the player I think I hate more than any other player ever. He only ever plays for Daddy's teams. Never able to stand on his two feet.

Only for a single brainfart you'd have to say Hull were the better team in the first half. And Iwobi looks like another Oxlade-Chamberlain only a bit more dribbly and a bit less powerful.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,940 ✭✭✭omega man

    Awful first 45.

Highlights, Girouds goal and Tayto's streaking ;-)

What type of team are we nowadays? What is our identity? i would love to know what the game plan has been for most matches this year.

We are not a possession based team as we cant pass
We are not an all out attack team who scores goals for fun
We arent a defensive team who keeps it tight
We arent a high pressing hard working team
Some matches we are barely a functional team tbh

We cant cope whatsoever with a high press
We cant really cope with all out defense.

We are very mentally weak. We have unmotivated players.

Im usually a positive poster but there is nothing good about this team at the moment. Maybe we were good at the start of the season, I cant remember cause we have been awful for so long

We seem to plod along aimlessly most games just doing the bare minimum, usually playing awful. I honestly dont know how we are where we are in the league.

I dont give us any chance of winning the league even if Leicester and Spurs both lose more than a couple of their last games.

Its depressing the way the league turned out this year

That goal is a Godsend in more ways than one. Hull will have to push some midfielders forward and leave more space behind.

Ha what a gift from Meyler thankfully. Didn't realise we kicked off at 7 thought it was the usual 7.45 ffs. Ah well main thing is we're winning, lets hope it stays that way!
