Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He has done nothing wrong. I really don't understand the dislike some people have for him. If we paid £50M for him we'd all be wearing jerseys with his name on.

Coquelin would be one of the few players in this team that shows some balls and puts in some hard yards. The only issue i have with him is that his discipline can be questionable as shown at White hart lane last season. Other than that though id have more time for him than many

2-1 now i see. oh well we'll just have to take 6 points off them oursel....oh wait :(

Costa with the winner. He could have easily been sent off last week, and from what I hear, he dived when on a yellow this week as well. Don't know how he gets away with it.

Costa, Ibra and Aguero on all fire whilst we are still pissing around looking for a striker

Too much inconsistencies with refs. Ref spotted a penalty today for City and was right up with the play. A stonewaller for Stoke today turned down and the ref miles away

We're not looking for a striker. He won't sign one

I like the look of that team. It's a real kick in the stones for Chambers though, so he must be surely asking himself some questions seeing the younger player getting ahead in the pecking order. Swap Ox for Ramsey, Mert for Holding and Walcott for Giroud and it's probably our best start XI.

You appear to be forgetting about our best player :pac:

    :o

I actually just spotted that after I posted it. He's lucky we have so many injuries or he'd be out of the team:p

Arsenal XI: Cech; Bellerin, Koscielny, Holding, Monreal; Xhaka, Coquelin; Walcott, Cazorla, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Sanchez

Walcott on left with Ox on the right or vise versa?

Sanchez spending way too much time outside the box

BADLY need Giroud today, Leicester doing the usual of pushing our players out wide, nobody to cross to.

He's playing as a striker though. That's exactly where we want him. If he comes out, he'll get sucked into the play and then we'll have no one to aim for up front. I'm hoping him staying in the box is actually an instruction given by Wenger

I misread outside as inside :o

In fairness to him though he's staying up top a lot more than I expected him to

Not passing it very well at the moment.

So no comments about Clattenburg only just starting back today after his extended summer break after his exertions at the Euros? :pac:

Sanchez is having one of those games where he loses the ball all the time.

Just tried it there myself and it's not available outside the UK but it does say it's available on Deezer.com, which is a variation of spotify/play music.

Less so Coquelin. Him on a yellow always scares me

He rarely makes it to HT without being booked.

Wouldn't be so bad if he was losing it in the box. Unfortunately he's coming out to the midfield to lose it.

I'd nearly bring Elneny on at half time knowing rash coquelin can be

Batshauyi also scored. He wasn't avaliable though.

Didn't even know he was a player people were hoping for.

Sanchez coming out of the box then running out of ideas as he re-enters before hopelessly shooting isn't very Suarez-esque

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,940 ✭✭✭omega man

No threat up front whatsoever so far. Walcott invisible yet again....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,690 ✭✭✭✭Skylinehead

World of difference with Koscielny in the team, that's one positive at least....still though, there's nothing going on up front.

  • Moderators Posts: 8,726 ✭✭✭x PyRo

Sanchez at CF is utterly pointless.

He's a promising young striker. It's clear we're not going to spend big on a proven one so someone like him is the best we can hope for.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,690 ✭✭✭✭Skylinehead

Surely that's a yellow for Simpson?

Or a yellow for diving. It's either one or the other. I'll wait to see a replay before making up my mind.

Good call by the ref. Kos got the ball 100%.

Kos won the ball, then there was contact. Fair enough call, imo.
