Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

To be fair everton have been rubbish. It's just long balls over the top to lukaku all day and a half decent shot by Barkley.

I'm watching it on BT with the TV on mute.

This would piss me off. As annoying as Owen is have to have the audio on

To be fair we have prevented them from getting any rhythm today. Elneny and Coq have been a big part in that.

Credit Arsene for changing things but it's such a pity its taken him this long. Vieira is right, his biggest foible is loyalty

Best 45 minutes in a long time

I love when we play with speed upfront we are so much more effective

Everton have been rubbish. They have passed the ball to us time and time again

We haven't let them play our tempo has been great and we are closing them down forcing the mistakes

We hit this team enough let's give them credit when they earn it

Delighted for Iwobi, that waster Chamberlain and his partner in mediocrity Walcott should take a leaf out of Iwobi and Campbells books.

Id still opt for mute over Owen. I don't blame the guy to be honest.

Ospina was brave there tbf but the likes of Jonny sexton took a few heavier versions of those of Bastereud alone two yr ago

Ah yeah, but if the physio's thought he was actually injured, he would be off. Cut the theatrics and get on with it.

Just coz he is well enough to continue doesn't mean it can't still be painful ffs

Hopefully that's just a minor knock for Ozil.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,693 ✭✭✭emmetlego

    Giroud's first 2 touches:

1 heads it out if play.

2 loses the ball with heavy touch on edge of Everton square, then jogs for a second or 2 before chasing it down.

Bad, very bad! Even when he was poor before, his effort was good!

OK. What I should have said is:

Stop being such a pansy, Ospina. We know you're hurt, but you don't have to carry on like my 3 year old.

Mert would be guaranteed lineout ball.

Couldn't imagine him doing much in a ruck though.

Thank God they dont play that rubbish sport.

But also a sport that displays all the qualities Arsenal have lacked this season:

Heart, passion, desire, courage, pride....etc etc.

Ah now he did take a hit from a huge man in lukaku and looked groggy for a good 5 mins afterwards

    Clattenburg has been dire today.

I had a bad feeling when I saw him having his casual chat with Jagielka in the tunnel before the match.

Agree whole heartedly! At least one peno for us and 2 yellows for them. And that goal should have stood!

Aha ha ha brilliant Alexis! Like something you'd see at the opening credits to the big match in the 70s or 80s

Overall played great finally some urgency especially in the 1st half! Welbeck has been immense since coming back should start all games through the middle if he keeps this up. Is Campbell injured or something? Fair enough Iwobi got a goal but his decision making and overall play has been quite bad IMO. Cambpell has a decent shot and is one of the best passers in the team too, Id say get a Sanchez Welbeck Campbell trio going and they should steamroll it!

    Edit:

Looking now that Campbell is on the bench, why is he not ahead of Iwobi and why does Wenger insist with Gibbs ridiculous. Poor Joel must have done some horrible things to Wegner to not get any game time these days :D

    Iwobi gets motm. Well deserved.

    Arsenal fans singing:
Get out of our club, get out of our cluuuuub, f**k off Stan Kronke, get out of our club! Most vocal I've heard them. Delighted!

    Elneny + Coquelin = Batman + Robin.
Forced Everton to go wide from the off. Impregnable down the centre.

Professional performance today. Can't fault it. Onwards and Upwards.

Great win. I'm very confident Leicester will drop points at palace. Still going to be very difficult to catch them though.
