Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Surprised how pathetic that came across. The riposte in favour of Wenger was much stronger

Dont like protests within the stadium when the match is on.

Yep. It seems the world outside of online message boards is a much more reasonable place.

Protest outside wishing Wenger dead in May - classy...

Game feels like a training ground exercise. Defence against attack. Defence is winning

Seems the vast majority are still firmly in favour of Arsene.

In the 20 seasons prior to Wenger's arrival, Arsenal finished top 4 9 times. In the 20 before that 4 times. 15-16 would be 20/20 for Wenger

I wonder if our players practice putting crosses into the box?

Probably the most boring game I've watched in a long time

All that possession yet still to register a shot on target

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,521 ✭✭✭✭mansize

Norwich with a shot on target...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,057 ✭✭✭FixitFelix

    Fcuking snoozefest!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,306 ✭✭✭sonic85

It has the feel of one of those games where we'll huff and we'll puff but nothing will happen. Norwich have had nothing but scraps but have had two great chances. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if they nabbed a goal

We're unbelievably predictable today, seen us do the exact same move about 4 times and had it easily defended each time. Poor poor stuff.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,306 ✭✭✭sonic85

Jaysus that was a poor first half. It's a bit of a chore watching Arsenal at the minute

I'd love it if Arsene held up a Time For Change A4 as he makes the usual 70th minute substitutions.

I'd say the same except that this is probably the most interesting part of my day...

No shots on target? Wenger still seems to have a large amount of support from match day fans despite this garbage football. I despair.

I don't know; I've seen a few this season that would rival it!

Jesus how does Wenger have so much faith in Giroud.

Is Campbell even on the bench today?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,798 ✭✭✭speedboatchase

Still waiting for that shot on target...

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,336 ✭✭✭Mr.Micro

With Gabriel on, we are sure to concede a goal or a pen

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,940 ✭✭✭omega man

Wow a substitution pre 60 minutes.

I don't think so. It's fcuking disgraceful really. It's OK though Walcott will come on for 20 minutes or so to run around.

Dont know why they are booing? Iwobi has been rubbish, second worst player after Giroud.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,363 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    Wenger is so stubborn.

He refuses to be wrong on Giroud, and I can only guess he's bringing off Arsenal's bright young fan favourite to prove a point.

    Sad.

Some fans chanting outside the stadium saying Wenger would be better off dead. Absolute disgrace to the club and should never be allowed into the stadium again. Embarrassing.

    Great lay off by Giroud

Few of the players there including gisoud signaling to the crowd with their hand over their ears.

Horrible atmosphere at the club right now.

Iwobi wasn't good today. Neither was Giroud, but that goal shows that he can influence the game more.

    Nice unselfish work by Giroud

The 78 minute protest will probably die a death now. Would have been more prominent if still 0-0.

Top 4 trophy still in our hands.

Jesus I hate this siege mentality bull**** but its even worse when its your own fans. Giroud is an idiot. The game is far from won. I don't condone the 'better off dead' morons but in general im in agreement with the protesting of supporters. Its a real tragedy that it has come to this.

Great last ditch defending by Gabriel and then Ozil with the pass of the season
