Nissan IDS battery format

The current Leaf's battery is quite well hidden under the floor and seats but the portion under the front seats does cause some issues with backseat passengers' toe space.

The Nissan IDS concept seem to have a totally flat floor. Wouldn't be surprised if Nissan were going to go with a flat underfloor battery pack similarly to Tesla, Volt mk.2 and VW 60 kWh concept. There seems to be quite a lots of battery space hidden in the concept car..

PS. The concept car is too low to be practical but I really like the overall design. I wouldn't be surprised if the next Leaf looked similar to IDS but with a slightly taller design.

Nice car, about time they stopped playing safe and producing boring EVs indistinguishable from boring ICE cars. Reminds me of my Mazda RX8, with the "suicide" doors
Also noted the Renault/"Nissan alliance posted a special edition Zoe with smaller but higher capacity battery.

Clay models of course can be very exotic
