    CPU-AMD Phenom II black edition
    MB-Asrock M3A UCC
    PSU- 650w Corsair

So im having problems with my friends gpu a EVGA GTX 750Ti we went to install on the computer but after we finished installing the drivers and went for restart we got a black screen after the windows logo.So we we tried to go back to a previous update without luck. Then we checked to see if it was enabled in the BIOS which it was .We made sure that the amd drivers were deleted .So im now wondering if its the motherboards problem .Is there any way i can find out or does anyone else know what the problem might be.

Also the cards fans are working when turned on and device manager is picking it up in safe mode.

You have tried all ports not just HDMI?

Could be driver related. Download an earlier version driver 3 or 4 back.

If it worked OK until the driver went in, it must be driver related.
Check out Display Driver Uninstaller; http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
Try the clean & restart to remove old amd stuff.
DDU works best in Safe Mode but can work OK in normal mode if needed.

Its a brand new card we just finished putting in the driver to switch over to the card after restart.

Wait so did you install the nvidia drivers while the AMD card was still in the PC?

Sorry dont think i was being very clear earlier basically we unistalled the amd drivers and card ,then we put in the new card installed the drivers and when it went for the restart it would display windows logo and then black screen.
