Put it through the banks letterbox or lodge box outside ! Or hand it into local gardai station .

Letterboxes are a thing of the past with BOI, most are sealed up, usually cards are cancelled, destroyed and reissued.

You could give it to a teacher to drop it in and leave your name.

There should be a free phone nber in the card for the security section. Ring that and give the card details. Tell them that you found it and are going to chop up the card. They will contact the owner and send them a new card.

    Good Morning ultrasupertay,

Thank you for taking the time to get in touch with us here on Boards.ie. We can try and get in touch with our customer to reconcile the card with them, and avoid them having to cancel their card and issue a new one.

We can contact our customer if you give us a call on 0818365365 option 1 and the * key. If you are unable to contact us, or if you are unable to drop this card to the bank directly, then we would ask that you destroy the card immediately. Alternatively, if you can send us a PM with your name and number and a good time to call you we can arrange this to take the details.

Thanks for letting us know here,

    Evie
