1916 Commemorations- Will the British forces be doing anything?

Well we all know the central role the Irish Defence Forces have been playing here in commemoration preparations, I wonder whether there will be anything at all, internal or external, the British armed forces will do to commemorate it? The might be the big baddy to many in this story, but they did lose many of their number as well.

    AFAIK, nothing at all.

Very few of the British Army units, apart from the Royal Artillery, exist now.

1916 is about the Irish battle for independence as you well know. Though they may have lost the battle, it ultimately proved to be a catalyst for real progress.

The British have no reason to comemorate the occassion, it is not theirs to remember. They may have lost men but that's the price you pay for centuries of oppression and occupation.
