Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Kilcoole train station

What sort of development are they doing on Kilcoole train station? I was there yesterday evening and it was a building site. I'm wondering are they going to improve the service and status of the station and thus make Kilcoole a viable alternative to Greystones?

    Thanks.

A ticket machine and regular train service wouldn't go a miss either :pac:

Thanks. It seems like a lot of work going on for a ramp. My main question is: is there any plan for the DART to extend to Kilcoole?

It seems in 2016 that there's only two trains from Kilcoole to Dublin Monday-Friday (06:48; 07:46), one train on Saturday (07:44), and no train on Sunday.

From Dublin to Kilcoole there are three trains Monday-Friday(1637;1736; 1838), one train Saturday (18:38) and no train on a Sunday.

Do many people go on those trains from Kilcoole? Do most people get a bus into Greystones DART?

Quite a few use the service from Kilcoole and there's zero chance of the DART being extended there - ever.

Many people would use the 84X bus to/from Dublin.
