    Mahrez for me confirmed

Tempted by Vardy, Mahrez, Kane but too frightened to stray away from Kun!

Same here....you could make very strong arguments for Kane and Vardez but Aguero is on form, rested and playing against a dire Norwich defence

Getting a bad feeling that he will be rested ahead of the CL game

    Me 2.
Can easily bench him, start Bony & Iheanacho and are still can win easy.
Get 2-3 ahead take of Silva etc...

there is NO chance he won't start
    zero
he probably won't play 90 of things are going well which is far from a given if you look at their ABYSMAL away form !
I'm more worried about that form than him not starting

Think I'm going to take a punt on Kane.

You can thank me later Aguero captainers. :o

McClaren officially sacked. Was going with Vardy, but moving to Aguero now!

I think I'll go Kane. He tends to let me down captain wise though.

Villa have long given up on their season and their pride. Spurs are in with a realistic shout of a title for the first time in donkeys years.

Norwich are in a real battle to stay up. City are out of the title chase realistically and while they need to push on to seal top 4 I'm thinking the Champions League will be what is on most of thier players minds.

Really tempted by Kane too but... Agüero on 57% on FFS (C) poll (vs Kane's 19%) frightens me. I'm not yet in a "double or quits" situation captain-wise...

I'm the one that voted for YaYa. But heard on radio today that he picked up a repeat of a previous injury or somewhat. So will probably go for Mahrez or Vardy.
    Don't have Kun.Have Kane though

I think I'm going to join you.
6,2,3,4 Villas last four goals conceded record.

Yaya getting injured a slight negative for City's attacking returns. I'm still worried as hell though.

Gonna go with Kane but very worried that villa could provide an upset

Had it on Vardy untill Newcastle Sacked McClaren. Now with Yaya injuried Agueros not quite a cert for me either.

    Alli?

Tough one. He's gone quiet in recent weeks compared to previously.

Dembele is also still out but I think someone else posted previously that Alli got a lot his big scores when Dembele was out around xmas.

Kane hadn't scored in 4 (since he started wearing that mask) until he scored that wonderful goal last weekend in the NLD. Fyi, He was training without the mask this week.

    And Aguero is Aguero.

Going with Kane myself because Villa are just awful awful awful while Norwich haven't given up yet.

Just keep captaining Aguero till he hits 5 goals again :)

Just noticed that Man City are the 12:45 game, so I switched to Kane.

Golden Rule of Fantasy Football : Never captain anyone who plays in the 12:45 game

    Myth Buster.
26 goals in the last 6 12:45 games.
Average of 4.3 goals a game ain't bad for games that nothing really happens.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

I'd far rather appear foolish by captaining Aguero for a blank than not captaining him and missing out on a haul.

They might go out and try to impress Benitez though.

I'm sweating like a meat loaf after making that switch

Kane without the mask is going to chokeslam the villa defense to hell and put a tombstone on the premier league survival hopes.

There's more life in Katie Vick then that villa defence.

    .

Why do you think Dembele is out? He played b Arsenal and came off the bench v Dortmund. I've not heard anything about a new injury.

    Yellow flagged.

Edit. No he's not. It's Dier. My bad.

    Edit again.

Dier missing could equally effect Alli 's performance too though.

    Sky sports ff he is.

Not much via Google other than something about him 'expected to shake off a knock' ... sounds like a non story.

Dier expected to be ok too according to Dinnery. No mention on Dinnery twitter of anything about Dembele.

    Bony starts

    Will that affect Aguero captainers?

Didn't Kun score 4 against Spurs last season in an early kickoff. I don't let that influence my captaincy choice.

    Once in 76 gameweeks.

Yeah I'll stay as I am thanks ;)

I think if we're gonna be making shouts like the 12:45 one they need to be backed up by stats. Today we are arguing it, we weren't as quick to do so when Liverpool went there early and won 5-4.

Thats because its for pre-gameweek discussion on who to captain. The gameweek thread is where the people who captained Kane go to brag!
