Hi All Quick question if i may I have a single phase mig welder at home and its power cable is 2.5mm cable and its 2 metres long Question is if want to change the cable for a longer say 5 metre one should i up the size of the cable Thanks

The primary side cable? 2.5mm² will suffice.
Sounds thin for the DC side.
