Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Joe brass balls Allen gets my sub of the match award. Really hope we keep him next year.

It's strange how Fellaini "should have been sent off" every game against United. Henderson's dive and hack when he got turned on a yellow forgotten about because Fellaini put his foot up to block a cross.

    Fellaini should have been off.

Wouldn't have made no difference anyway. Utd are hopeless

Ref must have an early Ryanair flight to catch home judging by how little time he has added on.

Stop it early out of sympathy.

Great result and no away goals.

    What happened to Can?

Joe Allen, inspired substitution. Has closed down every ball put pressure on and does not look terrible on the ball any more either.

Honestly slightly disappointed with that as a Liverpool fan. This is comfortably the worst United team I've seen in my life and it's going to be a very long way back for them.

De Gea aside there's not a single player that would have even got into that squad five years ago.

Well, that was a lot less nerve wracking than i'd expected.

No idea, they said it was something to do with Fellaini but I did not see anything.

Great win, great great great win.

    Brilliant.

Can't wait for Klopp's post-match interview, they've become the highlight of our games for me.

Shame we didn't get more, but watching us playing them off the pitch felt good.

Robbed of a Moreno yellow too, this season sucks

Jaysus, just looked again, appears that Fellaini threw a forearm/elbow at him.

Wohoo. ****en beautiful. ****en men against Boys. Utd a sad team of the past.

When I first saw Schweinsteiger playing for United it was sad to see one of my favourite players playing for them. Now it's just sad to see him playing.

Cant complain about that, well played LFC.

We were absolute muck, DDG could only do so much.

Hopefully VanGowl will start the same team he did against Midgetland in the second leg last time out.

At least the young lads give a bollox.

Rio on Fellaini: "Get his elbows out"

Right before showing his scumbag elbow to Can's face

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

    That was a humping.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,501 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Fellaini full-on swung at Can from what I've seen after rewinding it.

I'm as well not to say anything about him because it'd surely warrant a yellow.

Mancs showing their true colours tonight singing about Hillsborough, dirty dirty mongrels. Good enough for yous, YNWA

Typical Felaini. A nothing player who can only head the ball and throw elbows.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,948 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Just showed the incident on BT. Elbow/forearm from Fellaini on Can. Hopefully no action taken so he can play next week.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,725 ✭✭✭✭blueser

Fellaini throwing his elbow about again. How the bloke gets away without more red cards against him is baffling.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,501 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Neville lost too, tops off a great night.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Wasn't that bad. Can is a big lad. I'm all for Fellani being suspended, but he didn't really connect well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

I sense a full on scrap in the BT studio brewing.

Fellaini all sly little kicks and elbows. Rotten cowardly 'player'

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,480 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

    Fellani has no class.

It's incredible that LVG hasn't been sacked.

It's the gift that keeps giving.

Fellaini getting a ban would suit Man U TBH, he is shocking and just slows down all of the play!

Liverpool have chosen the way of the future, Man Utd look increasingly a club of the past.

One good performance out of three games against United this season, having lost the previous two and winning by a penalty and a defensive mistake against a side ravaged by injury make your statement a little over zealous. Liverpool deserved the win tonight but have the potential to tank in their next game, in isolation United were terrible and Liverpool were quite good and deserved to win. Anything else is up in the air.

    Glazers Out!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,564 ✭✭✭✭OwaynOTT

Macho Man Randy Fellaini at it again.

Can we start a petition to not punish Fellaini

  • Site Banned Posts: 2,094 ✭✭✭BMMachine

How the f*ck is Fellaini allowed to play for Utd? hes shockingly bad and a liability at best. completely ignored by his team mates when in possession. My good lord, what an awful awful player. What does he do? like Im honestly asking that, i dont watch as many utd games as the fans do obviously so can somebody answer me as to what his good qualities are? aside from being tall of course. what a lump!

Good result though, happy enough. Really feel we could have won 4/5 - 0 though, that united team is quite easily one of the worst ever thats played at Anfield

Feels weird saying this, but I'd be incredibly disappointed if we didn't beat this Man Utd team in OT on Sunday.

In truth, it's probably stupid to sack him now. Just wait until the summer at this stage and let the comedy roll on.
