Help needed with Surveyor

    Hey All,

    Appreciate any advice.

    FTB, paid a surveyor to do a survey. Since I've paid he has stopped responding to emails and does not return calls. I have no idea when or if he is going to do the survey and its holding up the purchase .

    Anyone been in this situation ?

    Never pay for something like that upfront, Call to his/hers office its the only way, its very hard to ignore someone sitting in the office.

    Search their name on the SCSI website, see if they're registered

    https://www.scsi.ie/

    If they are, perhaps contact the SCSI and ask their advice.

    If they're not, you may have been scammed. Keep at them though.

    How long have you been trying to make contact?

    Please confirm:
    1. What exactly was the survey for?
    2. 'Title/type of survey quoted for by surveyor?
    3. What were the surveyors credentials?
    4. Was a report provided?
    5. Following issue of the report, did you review and speak to the surveyor?
    6. Assuming Q5 above, is your business not simply concluded?
