Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Womens self defence classes Galway

Friend of mine is looking to take up a self defence class but said she would much rather train with other women as opposed to a mixed class. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I've tried to tell her that both genders will be welcome at any class in town but she really doesn't want to be part of a mixed class. I remember seeing something before on either Facebook or in a newspaper about womens only MMA classes somewhere in the city?

    Thanks

In Point Blank in Galway there is a seminar (women only) being given by Olga Lysashevska, she is a BB in BJJ and Judo and active competitor in both. She is a seriously excellent coach. The seminar is being ran with a view to setting up a women only class. It is on April 2nd in Point Blank. Check out the Point BVlank Submissions facebook for more details if you are interested.

Thanks a million! I have heard of Olga from friends in BJJ and been told she is an absolutely amazing athlete. I'll let my friend know about the seminar
