Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not sure they need to do so much of it around their own penalty area

Chelsea just running around like headless chickens. PSG's quick passing is great to watch.

Thiago Silva didn't cover himself in glory there but good finish by Costa and assist by Willian..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,977 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Good work by Costa to score that one and there was a lot of hard work and digging in to get the ball to him as well.

It'll be interesting to see if they can get back into the game possession wise now although it doesn't look like it so far since the goal.

This level of intensity was needed from the start from Chelsea.

This is shaping up to be a great game. Good football on show from both sides. Costa is awesome.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,382 ✭✭✭✭greendom

    A horrible diver.

Have a feeling somebody will see red in this game.

Why, he's been one of the Best players on the pitch?

Kudos to the ref who is allowing actual tackling, and not what is the EPL norm of diving when the hint of a touch

I think you'll find it's the other way around for the most part.

Ref bottled a nailed on yellow card for Matuidi early in the game.

To be fair he's let a few off on both sides before he started dishing out yellows. He's reffed it well so far.

If Costa could pass the ball, he'd be a great player.

Enjoyable half of football. More goals in this game anyway

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,790 ✭✭✭Bret Hart

More of that in the second half, please.

Chelsea have done really well to harry PSG out if their normal game. From being dominated they are now on top

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Enjoyable first half. Despite early dominance, PSG have really shít themselves.

Cracking game of ball, Chelsea got themselves right back into it both on the scoresheet and on the field.

Very, very enjoyable to watch, the standard is very high,

    Good game this, shockingly.

Good game so far. Disappointing from a Chelsea perspective that they were so slow and timid in the first 25 minutes. Still a chance for Chelsea, though it goes without saying that they really can't afford to concede again.

I don't think any were as blatant as Matuidi's pull back. Well beaten by a trick from Pedro, cynically drags him back purely to break up the attack. A textbook yellow card offence.

Excellent game, hope it goes to extra time.

Motta needs more protection, Cahill was brainless for the psg goal, Kennedy been good, Luiz being Luiz.
