Armed Guards in Donbabate Today

    Anyone know what this is about? Checkpoints this morning and this evening around the village with armed and unarmed Guards. Was stopped and they just looked into the car and waved me on. Obviously looking for someone.

    Thought it may be in connection with the raids today, but Donabate didn't get a mention in the press.

    Didn't hear that. They'd hardly need Guards with machine guns for a lost child alert. They were also in the village around 5 a.m. this morning.

    They seem to be waiting for an 'arrival' via the sea at Portrane today. Lots of them around. (Pipers doing a roaring trade!)
