    Hey,

Just wondering has anybody got a decent tatt cover up/fix up in Dublin they would recommend? got a half sleeve when i was 18, Maori/tribal ish horrible black thing, its driving me mad looking at it, I have a good few others that i really like but this one was just done with little care and I was young and naive! Im honestly open to suggestion as to what could be done with it. I know its a lot of black and not expecting miracles either but I know something can be done to freshen it up. Any help or ideas from anyone would be greatly appreciated. I also have started a sleeve on the other arm whilst in Australia which i want to get finished so would be a good bit of work in it for an artist.

I wouldn't say there is anyone that particularly specialised in cover ups, so look instead for an artist whose work you really like, and approach them about it.

The existing piece, it's it faded much? If not, it'd be quite limiting to the artist. Know some people have gotten a couple of sessions of lazer to lighten the existing tattoo before getting a cover up.

I'd actually be interested in finding out about someone who can do a decent cover.
Mine are not great and were done 24 years ago at the Mint

Wouldn't know where to go or who to ask now but would really like a cover up done as they are really faded(and tbh were badly done to begin with)

Tribal Tattoos are probably the hardest to cover up, they are usually large, unusual shapes and solid black ink.

The only real bit of advise I could give would be to look at online portfolios, find an artist that you like and book with them for a consultation, They would advise best on what they could do if a cover up is possible
