It's beyond belief how quickly it comes around, but it's that time of year again!

The 2016 Boards.ie Mock Draft - Interest & Chat Thread.

I think the 2015 mock draft killed Mike off so hopefully I won't suffer a similar fate! :pac:

I'm open to doing what the majority want, but after trying 3 rounds over the last couple of years and seeing how long it takes to get finished coupled with the fact that some people tend to drop out after 2 rounds I think we'd be best off sticking with 2 rounds first and then re-assessing?

If you're interested, throw your name down and as soon as we have enough I will throw the names into a random generator and then we can get going. I'd be hoping we can get things kicked off within the next week or so as the big free agency deals will be finished by then so team needs will be much clearer and with less than 50 days until draft night now coupled with the fact it will take a lot longer than any of us think to get this completed, the sooner we can start the better.

We're looking for 32 participants, that way everyone will get 2 selections except 1 person who will only get 1 selection due to the Patriots not having a 1st rounder this year. Please only enter if you're going to stick with it for the 2 rounds and are willing to provide even a small piece of reasoning for your selections.

Any comments, thoughts, suggestions etc you have on the mock draft would be most welcome.

Would plead with people in it to put down a bit of rationale. Hate when people put in their pick and "will fill in the rest later" which then never happens. Draft is no craic if it's just a list f names

A randomly selected team for each round (hopefully a different one).

I think one person ended up picking for the same team in both rounds 1 and 2 last year and the year before but the chances of that happening are obviously slim.

Fully agree on the 2 rounds. Many, myself included, just don't have the depth of knowledge to do anything other than spoof after that and as admirable as it is having just a handful of guys plough through round 3 it's far better having a range of posters get involved.

I'm in. I have strong opinions on players I've never seen play but will happily repeat other peoples opinion of them without giving any credit. That's how I roll.

Agree with the previous posters that even a basic comment to say why you picked would make it more entertaining and let us know your train of thought - even something as obvious as - titans dont have an o'line so im picking tunsil - would be better than saying picking this guy - explain later.... nothin!

May be wrong, but I imagine we'd struggle to get 6 more. Think most, if not all, the regulars are signed up.
