Hi, we are going to New York for three nights, Boston for two nights and have five more nights to see a bit of New England over Easter. Wondering can anyone recommend which towns would be the best to visit. I don't think we'll have time to go to Vermont so was thinking of a route toward Maine and back down to New York for our return flights on the tenth day. Regret not flying out of Boston but had flights booked last year. Is there much to see in Portland or would a stopover in Portsmouth be better? What about Maine, is Maine also a town and is it worth visiting. We are renting a car. Thanks in advance.
