Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Guys,

    I'm looking for a male Doberman pup as a family pet rather than as a show dog or guard dog.

    Can anybody recommend a breeder who takes care to only breed dogs and bitches together who don't exhibit any of the health problems that affect this breed?

    I've had a other big dog breeds before so know how to train, exercise and take care of them.

    I'd appreciate any tips or contacts that you can provide (feel free to PM if you prefer).

    Contact the breed secretary, details of which should be on the IKC website.

    And, to be honest, this is a great week to be looking- there's a massive dog show on this coming Saturday at the National Show Centre in Cloghran. If you can make it, you'll definitely see Dobes there, and be able to talk to some of the breeders and get some info/advice from them :)
