SS 2/1 without UDS looks a great bet, put 5% of my balance on that and the rest on UDS

    Sprinter or bust.

I know, but hey, I didn't put big money on to begin with, it's all relative :)

Oh i know profit's profit, just seen people counting there place money on accums before as if all the horses had won and didn't realise once one doesn't win then all the win legs are down and ended up very disappointed.
Apologies if it sounded like i was talking down at you or your stakes, stakes are personal to everyone and a person putting on a euro is entitled to get excited as much as someone with a grand on.

Good luck,i'm on Un De Sceaux myself. Adore him.

Backed Sizing Granite without Un De Sceaux at 18/1.

They should have ran him in the Champion Hurdle and today, favourite horse in training.

Not my most popular horse in jump racing...

3rd keeps my lucky 15 intact, as winnings lessen...

    Some horse - Sprinter Sacre

Great seeing SS back, but UDS was atrocious

Why did ruby sit still when sprinter came to him. Looked like they went very fast but winner was at his best and is pure class

Had no bet in the race but I dont think Ive ever cheered a horse home like I did Sprinter there.

Some training performance from Chemical Nicky! Between SS & MTOY, serious achievement. Delighted to see that even though I didn't have a cent on.

Massive run for my money on Special Tiara, beat UDS.

    3 1/2 lengths

That awkward moment when you change your mind on the 5/1 ew on Sprinter and come up with this bollox instead.....

Wow, I gave him no shot today.

    Amazing stuff, delighted for him.

I always thought UDS was over rated, interesting to see if anything comes to light with him or if thats as good as he is.

Thought that was strange as well, looked like he was stunned and unsure how to react.

Disaster of a day. Backed the favourites today and nothing. Only fav I backed yesterday was Min. I give up

If UDS is placed or wins, you'll be collecting €33.
4 winners in that bet would net you over €500. Hard luck:(

    €44.60 paid out :D

Even the change of tactics was bizarre, I thought Ruby was happy he would do them for toe at the end but there was nothing

Lads what happens if your horse wins and you had them to win W/O the favourite UDS do you still get muala??

If Ruby has went on at the start he would have been beat further, the pace looked crazy.

    Well done to Sprinter Sacre.

5/1 shows how unfancied he was. In his heyday (before today) the odds would be the other way around.

That is one of the best things I've ever seen in racing. What a story. Phenomenal.

I cannot remember a bigger cheer than they one that reverberated when he overtook UDS and jumped the last two. I genuinely had goosebumps and was sitting there speechless. Amazing Cheltenham moment.

And this is coming for a lad who backed Felix Yonger :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,007 ✭✭✭kksaints

Ruby must have thought that the horse still had a lot left in him as he barely went after the horse until after the last. Special Tiara ran a fantastic race.

Better price SPs ? I thought I was correct with €33
