Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There's definitely a point in this for Newcastle.

I agree. Leicester are not firing on all cylinders tonight. Newcastle just need to be more clinical in the final third. They are playing well so far.

    That was the chance..... Fúck.

  • Registered Users Posts: 613 ✭✭✭smog

The wasters are been found out. Grand, good game for it. Rafa will sort that out. Something to be gotten from this game still for newc. Leicester looking a little nervous still

Sissoko cant look and pick out the pass sooner, or listen to the calls...he's a waste of face.

Oof, that was a great chance if Sissoko had picked a better pass (or taken a shot).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

    Much better. Come on t'fúck1!

game really open now, definitely think we can get something

Drinkwater has been so poor tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,161 ✭✭✭✭M5

Sissoko needs to be moved on unless there are drastic improvements.

Can't pass, cant shoot, cant score, awful

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,036 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Leicester really look happy to just hold on with what they have.

Having said that, if the break opens up, there are few better teams at punishing space.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,161 ✭✭✭✭M5

Lacelles way way way out of his depth. Looks terrified on the ball

Whatever about the start of the season, he has calmed down a lot but every game we have opposition players cynically fouling him and getting away with it to try and rile him up.

    Outrageous

100% agree, but the other players arent going to stop when they know they will get away with it

I wonder if Pardew will be catching anyone at Newcastle for a drink afterwards? :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,796 ✭✭✭✭Francie Barrett

A most un-Benitez like performance so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Gotta start moving for the ball when we get to their box. Motionless.

Is it not a very Benitez like performance? Very solid, tough to break down. They were unfortunate to concede from a set piece and really should be level.

More hunger fight and desire required. If we are this timid against Sunderland we will be creamed

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Shelvey with the opportunity to cross first time decides to play it back to the keeper. Bloody hell.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

How is Drinkwater still on the field? Horrendous tonight.

That's been a problem for 2/3 years, nobody showing. The player on the ball then has to either attempt a silly pass or go backwards

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

    Sissoko FFS.

Sissoko about as effective as a chocolate fireguard.

    Kante's ball-winning ability is insane.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Look at the positions we're taking up and we're fúcking balls forward. Jeeeeeeeeeeeesuss

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,161 ✭✭✭✭M5

How many headers have we won tonight? 1 maybe?

I'll be shocked if a big European side doesn't come in for him. Talk of Juve being interested in Italy. He's disgustingly good at winning the ball back.

Kante is world class, he's everywhere.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,161 ✭✭✭✭M5

    Super volley, unfortunately blocked

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Despite the scoreline, this is still a bit better than what we've produced.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,161 ✭✭✭✭M5

Think a penalty I'd our only chance

Newcastle deserve something out of this.

I get the feeling Newcastle will get a late equalizer.

I love how a good few posters said Drinkwater was playing rubbish and he gets MOTM on Sky!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

    Drinkwater man of the match?

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA.

    What the actual ****?

  • Registered Users Posts: 613 ✭✭✭smog

Good job by Leicester closing it out. But positive performance by Newcastle and expected nothing more from the game

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

We battled well and outdone by one moment of quality. A full week of tactics will hopefully see us over the line.

    Should've had a penalty too.
