Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    penalty

Referee is an enemy of football....

That decision is quite harsh.... the ref was looking for that one.

The push from Huth on Reid was worse

    Joke.

Huth and Morgan actually being punished for fouling in the box  It only took 34 weeks.

Scandalous decision to give a penalty there

See incidents like that at virtually every second corner. Very rarely blown for. Weird that he would there.

Because Huth, in particular, is ALWAYS at it.

It's like Skrtel at Liverpool. You're asking for a penalty to be given one day if it's at every set piece.

=(:-) Me? I know who I am. I'm a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude (-:)=

He saw the bit of pushing and shoving before the corner was delivered and he decided then that he was going to give a penalty. It's scandalous what's been done by the referee. Leicester have been cheated

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,777 ✭✭✭highgiant1985

what a goal.... 2-1 West Ham.

1-2, championship race could be back on, if Spurs can win tomorrow night at Stoke.

    Well done spurs, hate football.

Its a penalty all day long ,that nonsense of wrestling players in the box has to be eradicated from the game.

This is more about getting coverage on Premier League Years 2015/2016 than anything else.

Yeah let's give out about the ref even though he got two massive calls correct.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,790 ✭✭✭Bret Hart

    2-1. WHU.

Its a penalty all day long.

Of all the shenanigans going on at corners, what the penalty was actually given for was very lightweight.

Like he wanted to breathe some life into the title race or something. He'll probably let similar incidents go next weekend.

Spurs probably won't even win at Stoke tomorrow night anyway.

That's more of a pen than the Morgan one.

Spurs are very efficient & Stoke have already checked out.
Tottenham will win there without too much stress.

    How's that not a pen

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,046 ✭✭✭Berserker

Well, if Morgan's foul was a penalty, that was too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,416 ✭✭✭Dave_The_Sheep

But that one's not a penalty?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,248 ✭✭✭✭BoJack Horseman

    Clear penalty on Huth.

referee looking straight at it and declines the obvious!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,406 ✭✭✭✭LuckyLloyd

No penalty for Huth?!! Dreadful refereeing - just decided to give the match one way

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,497 ✭✭✭ArnoldJRimmer

Think Leicester have every right to feel aggrieved here, that was a definite peno since the other was given

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,014 ✭✭✭✭Corholio

Ref got the calls spot on today. Who would have thought Vardy may have cost Leicester badly. Idiotic from him to be honest, that nasty streak he has has reared its head at the wrong time.

Edit: Maybe not every call, that Huth one looked like another peno.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,113 ✭✭✭galwaylad14

Stonewall penalty not given to Huth there. Have a feeling there's something a little bit iffy about this refereeing performance

Not so sure. Stoke were dreadful last time out against Liverpool, so they'll want to put in a performance. No love lost between Spurs and Stoke either.

That's more of a pen than the Morgan one.

No it's not. Morgan's was a rugby tackle. Both fouls though.

I can't take Huth seriously though when he gives out about holding.

Thats the problem ,you'd have to give 10 penalties a game.
The FA/Fifa need to clamp down on this stuff ,keep giving penalties until its eradicated ,teams wont be long getting the message .

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,029 ✭✭✭vetinari

It's always shocking when penalties like the Morgan one are given, when you know the next 10 incidents won't be a penalty.
    Shocking from the ref.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,935 ✭✭✭kksaints

Bad refereeing there. If you give the West Ham penalty which I think it was, you have to give that Huth one which should also be a penalty.

Huth also had his hands on the man in front of him. Though not nearly as heavy

    Tough game for Leicester.

Still though, win their last two home games against poor opposition (relative to the season), and that will probably be enough.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,046 ✭✭✭Berserker

    Massive call. Penalty for Leicester.
