Hope the DLC is more like it, I'll be staying away if they put in chart/band stuff.
I'd like some minimal dark techno personally.

Also wouldn't go near this type of music normally, bit have to admit it really suits the game and got quite into some of the tunes

I'm fairly sure anything that was on Rock Band that was fun on drums would work perfectly well. Or songs that I might actually know.

So I finally finished Astrobot tonight, I was intentionally taking it slow as it is without a doubt the best game I've played in years. Amazing from start to finish, now back to try and get the platinum on it.

Problem with songs you know is that licensing fees have to be paid and the studio probably just didn't have the money for licensing (they probably had no idea how popular the game would be).

I completed Moss recently, that's superb too, and one you'd like if you enjoy Astrobot. It's more about being in a fantasy world though, rather than ingenious platforming, though the use of VR to assist with puzzles and add depth to the world is done really well.

Good luck with that. Some of the challenges are infuriatingly difficult to finish with two lives.

It's the 'Mario 64' of this generation. Had a massive smile on my face throughout the whole game and the level design is superb. Thought the main campaign was fairly easy but never boring and there is some difficulty to be had in the Chameleon challanges.

I can't ever remember smiling as much throughout a game or being so completely amazed. It was my first VR experience over Christmas in someone elses house and I went and bought one the next day, I had to have it. In my mind, it's a complete game changer.

Sony own a large chunk of music. They can do it for PS4 users.

A bit of Backstreets Back in BS would be awesome! :pac:

If only they made it with constant movement instead of running to black screen after every stretch, it would have been much better. Not a patch on Astro unfortunately.,

So, has anyone attempted the Expert+ in Beat Saber? I'll be honest, the Expert levels have only just clicked with me in the last few days, so when I tried 'Beat Saber' on Expert+, I failed within seconds. They look impossible! I suppose I said the same about Expert but I have the hang of them, more or less, now. But Expert+ seems like a huge jump up.

Combat isn't good in Moss, too many annoying fights. It's still a good game though.

I'm alright at Expert mode ( i can finish every song and Full combo most of em ) but Expert+ is ridiculous. Looks like I know what I'm doing with my weekend now :pac:

Spent another afternoon in a friend's house playing dirt rally with his wheel, pedals and vr. Tempting but where I live, around $1250 to get set up.

Great craic but a PC setup here would be more value even if it's more expensive.

I see Dirt Rally VR is down to €10 with the most recent sale, and you can get the G29 & shifter for £180 on Amazon. So so tempting...

Tetris Effect is playable through a weekend trial demo this weekend from the 8th til the 11th.

Very smart move from the devs, I reckon I could end up buying it if I like it. But, the wording is strange. Limited-time demo. So that means the in-game time is limited, or it's limited to the weekend?

Probably limited to the weekend. It's using a different title id to the full game and it's trivial to disable a title from launching.

It’s a weekend only trial so will stop being playable on Sunday I think, the trial itself seems to be limited to 3 stages only.

Ah, there's the clincher. I'll still give it a go though, just to experience it.

Excellent news, I've been wanting to play tetris but not sure I want it at full price so this will help me out.

I've been looking to get a wheel and pedals for Dirt Rally. Do you know if there would be anything decent for a bit less without resorting to cheap tat. Was looking at the Thrust master stuff for between £80 and £100. Any recommendations folks?

Bought the cheap thrust master last year and it lasted 4months.
    Tbh regretted it.
Spend the extra money and get one with proper force feed back.
Think the thrustmaster t150 is the next one up and it's a different experience.
Another thing a nice wheel stand for it makes all the difference also!

Aye, suspected as much. I'll just have to persuade the good lady that I really "need" to spend the extra. Hmmm, let's see how that goes :D

Is there a thread for PSN for PSVR? I don't player regular games on my PS4 at all so it's kinda pointless adding anyone from the PS4 forum. I've had the PS4 a while but never really played it. I only got PSVR last week but I'm hooked! I want to have more people in my groups so I can try beat their score on beat saber!

I'm also playing creed and superhot.

Anyone wanna be my friend? :o

Good idea for a thread there alright!

I don't play online, only single player as I find multiplayer is just waaay too time consuming :)

TBH I'm not too bothered about playing directly against people but it'd be nice to have the option. I mainly want more scores on beat saber. I've only 1 friend that has it and I've beaten most of his scores :D

Add away, just sent you a friend request: PotentialMonkey - I'm only just able to beat all the Expert ones without failing, so still learning. Expert+ is a distant dream to me right now. Can't get further than 3/4 seconds into a song before it fails!

And same as, just want a few names on the board to see how I'm doing! No one on my friends list has it...
