Just wasted 20euro on a crap game called Kismet and then a game that apparently requires move controllers Pixel Gear ... Now I can't really do anything and Move is sold out everywhere apparently and can't afford the price right now...

I thought the VR had DS4 compatibility for all games when it was released... A shooter should definitely support DS4...

Pretty sure the storefront tells you if a particular controller is required for a game.

Other than that, the fact that absolutely no one is talking about Kismet should have tipped you off that it's a bit ****.

I feel your pain though, only tonight i started playing the first Danganronpa on PC after reading rave reviews and getting it a while ago. Turns out the game is utter trash, I deleted it after a couple of hours. Think i paid 20 something-odd for it as well. And like a moron i bought the sequel at the same time :(

Did you not check the reviews before you wastes €40?

Only compant I have is not being able to watch stereoscopic porn on it. There I said it! They better sort that quick or I'll be so buying a gaming PC and an oculus or vive :-0

Push square had a guide on this the other day, it can be done!

I didn't pick up any games yet with the amount of money I dropped last month on the hardware but tomorrow is payday! Am thinking VR worlds, batman and then I'll probably pick up eagle flight and Robinson:journey

I don't think vr worlds is worth €40 to be honest it's really just a few long demos. It's a great way to show off the system when visitors come around but besides that you'll get about a day of actual use out of it. I'd highly recommend until dawn if you haven't played it.

I find vr very good.the move controllers are very accurate.the demo disc is good but short. Batman vr is worth the 20quid as it shows off capabilities a lot. If the first few weeks are anyhring to go by the next year of games will be very good

Are you sure? Its a card/experience game and I played it with DS.

Anyone know if/when the PlayStation VR Launch Bundle likely available in Ireland?

Debating whether to hold off for a month or two in hopes it will come out....seems good value to me plus best buy any electronic items in store in case of problems..

Anyone playing Sportsbar VR at all? seems to be getting seriously good comments from users on reddit - there's a pretty good community there under r/RSVR - although the reviews aren't too good, the social aspect of the game is supposed to be amazing.

The game is $19.99 digitally, but only like 840mb in size - and the devs are meant to be adding more to it in the coming weeks too.

Tried it in Swords Pavillions outside Game yesterday.

Played the London Heist level where you're in the van and attacked by gunmen on the back of motorbikes.

The headset is a really quality piece of kit. Really nice. And it fit over my glasses no problem. But the issue was my glasses instantly steamed up. Tried to keep going hoping it would stop but had to remove the headset and remove my glasses to continue.

My sight isn't *too* bad but it definitely compromised the experience.

Saying that - the level of immersion at the start as the cockney driver of the van curses away and you're looking around the van and outside as the world passes by was spine tingling.

Just noticed an extra €400 in my bank and couldn't figure out where it came from, when looking through transactions I realised I couldn't see the bill for the psvr. Then I remembered The guy said my receipt would be emailed to me in smyths and that never showed up!

Looks like I got my headset for free:-D

    Lol, cool.

I reckon what happened there was a quirk in their click and collect system. When you reserve an item with them, the amount it costs is put 'on hold' in your bank account but isn't taken out until you pick it up.

It looks like yours didn't get scanned right in the store by the cashier so the reservation you had lapsed and the amount that was 'on hold' got released back into your bank account.

    Enjoy the free PSVR :D

Don't count on it, they always get their money.

My credit card was stolen in US, and a number of transaction were blocked and refunded which included €1300 charge from aerlingus for the tickets we already received, well I hoped this will remain "refunded", but reality is harsh - they re-charged €1300 6 months later and almost zeroed my account, I forgot already about it and didn't have enough balance.

P.S. when I collected my order, they said exactly the same, but later money were taken.

So for people who have played around with this or bought one what would yous say are the essential games at the moment?

I'll probably get until dawn as I liked the original game and from what I've seen and read of this looks cool.

Not looked into anything to much yet.

RIGS and Battlezone are must-buys. Truly excellent games, outside of their VR functionality. Eve Valkyrie and Batman Arkham VR are also very good and I enjoyed VR Worlds and Tumble VR too.

Sorry if it's been asked already, but does anyone know why CEX are selling second hand PSVR for 545 euro. Seems crazy that their pricing is that way off?

Don't burst my bubble man just let me have my moment:-)
I bet the took that €1300 at the most inconvenient time aswell!
I'm half expecting them to take the money to be fair but I don't know how easy that will be. I got an email the night before saying my card was out of date so I had to update the card and pay then but the payment was on that verified by visa page where you need to enter your password and everything so I don't know if Smyths actually have the card details.
    Fingers crossed anyway!

They are also selling Move controllers for 40euro each now, where as I got mine a few weeks back for 24euro for both. People will pay it that is why.

Well the barcode they scan when you pick it up is actually in the email they send you so you might be in luck still.

I played a good few different games and the RIGS demo was the only one that made me sick. I couldn't handle the big jumps and drops.

Has anyone spent much time playing non vr games in the headset?
I played 10 minutes of uncharted 3 today and I was close to vomiting. Horrible feeling.
