Opening bank account for kids ?

looking to open an account for my 5 and 3 year olds , just something i can add to my internet banking and throw in a few quid here and there any suggestions ? looking to do this online and not go into the bank

All the banks will allow you to start the process online for opening a bank account for a child, but they will all require your ID and proof of address (as the parent) usually by post, before you can transact on the account. The same would be true of the Credit Unions
