Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just bought an 08 Zafira design and I'm looking for Bluetooth recommendations.

I had a Focus with inbuilt Bluetooth. No cradle or anything like that. Just built into the radio.

Is there anyway of getting anything similar put into the Zafira that isn't going to be ridiculously expensive or cause electrical problems.

If not, what's the best visor type as I don't want to start screwing things into the consol.

    Thanks.

Parrot CK3100 is very reliable, probably cost you €200 fitted, visor ones are ok but having to charge them is a pain and there not always charged when you need it, http://www.parrot.com/uk/products/hands-free-car-kits/
Parrot also do a chargeable one there about €70 and very good but I think you best off spend the money.

Cheers. Don't want the hassle of charging a unit.

If your not going to be steaming music with it the CK3100 will do the job perfectly. Simple enough fit, you just need the loom specific for your car and the kit, Halfords will do it while your there or if you know any mechanic or audio installer they'd have it done in 30mins, not a big job.

I'd go with the fitted kit CK3100 , you can always transfer it from car to car. The smart parrot you linked to needs constant power so will take up you socket, the first parrot neo is good but again as you have to charge it you'll find yourself not using it.
The first device you linked to I haven't used but have used the other 2. The charging port on the neo gave up after a few months. Spend the extra few quid and put in a proper kit you won't regret it.

It's not the cash, it is more the big ugly button stuck on the dash of the car, I would prefer something more subtle.

You could go with something like the Nokia CK100 or CK7W it's just a button no screen, I've one new in the box somewhere buried in the office if your after one, it's pretty saucy here http://www.phonesonline.ie/nokia-ck-7w-bluetooth-car-kit.html it's handy to have a screen though and depending on where you put it, it doesn't need to take up the dash what car is it going into?

I picked up a 08 SMAX Titanium, normal Titanium spec should have bluetooth but as this is Irish model there is no bluetooth:mad:

You could swap out the radio altogether, for one with Bluetooth, just look for a double din unit, maybe even one with DVD player as well, Dvd is a great distraction saved a few tears in the back for me this morning. JVC one there with Bluetooth and DVD for £140 you'll need a frame kit for it there about €20, your mechanic should be able to fit it easily, you may need a loom as well there about €20 as well, might be worth contacting that website.

I am already looking to see about putting a dvd/media player into the back. I would prefer a media player to DVD player but haven't found option yet:p
