Tether phone to xbox 360

    Is there anyway of tethering an xbox 360 to my phone through usb? I have no wifi in my apartment but I have wifi on my phone when I put it in the window. I can get it from my parents house. Usually getting 3mb download speed. I tether this to my pc and it works great.

    Have you tried setting the phone as a hotspot and then using the 360 to connect to it with WiFi?

    You can't use your phone as a wifi repeater, if you turn on your phone's wifi hotspot, it's using the Data (3g/4g) on your phone to go online.

    If your phone is rooted and you're comfortable with configuring a wifi repeater, there are apps in the play store that might work, but it's a bit tricky


    I suggest picking up an xbox 360 wireless adapter https://ie.webuy.com/product.php?sku=882224035699

    and some USB extender leads http://www.cables.ie/usb-2-0-extension-cable.html to reach the window so that the xbox will pick up the wifi directly.
