Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Yes

I have one. Was extremely quiet at the start. Got it as we had a baby and wanted to be able to do the hovering when baby slept. Not sure its as quiet now (or maybe we've gotten used to the noise level!).

    Excellent suction too!

we paid 250E for it 2 years back...good value for money.

Yeah, was in the market for a vacuum cleaner last week and noticed almost all of them are now 700-800w, which simply isn't enough. (I know it's something to do with EU regulations)

Bought an AEG bagless one - this one here on Amazon for £200

    linky

    in powercity for €97

    Bargain!

Works very well (1200w) but not as well as the bagged Miele (2300w) it replaces. That said I paid €229 for the Miele 10 years ago and that was a steal at the time

If you look you can still find 2000W units.

Powercity have about 100 vacuum cleaners on their website

The highest wattage is 1600w and we are talking €200 Miele vacuum cleaners there.

Their most expensive vacuum is a €420 Dyson with just 1300w

For €97 I'd say you'd struggle to find a better one than the 1200w AEG I bought
