Hi all. I have a laptop that I use at work and home. At work it operates perfectly with no issues when either connected to the network with an Ethernet cable or using Wi-Fi. My problem is when I get it home it blue screens frequently. I wouldn't be pushing it hard, simply browsing the net or working on Excel can set off a blue screen. Is it simply the Sky broadband that I'd be using at home? Here is the error message that I see:

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48
    Locale ID: 6153

    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: d1
    BCP1: 000000010000011F
    BCP2: 0000000000000002
    BCP3: 0000000000000001
    BCP4: FFFFF880020DF79F
    OS Version: 6_1_7601
    Service Pack: 1_0
    Product: 256_1

    Any ideas please?

    Thanks!

Bugcheck code D1 is usually a driver fault.

Download BlueScreenView and it might give you more information.

Are you using it on a desk at work and on your lap at home perhaps?
