Hi I was just wondering if putting a 2.5" SSD into a 3.5" SSD adapter would make it slower?

Why do you need three threads for the same thing?

What exactly do you mean by adaptor? A bracket to hold it instead of a 3.5 housing or do you mean an external hard drive enclosure?

My desktop only has 3.5" brackets and the SSD is 2.5"

So it's going in to the desktop itself via the SATA connection? If so then speed will not be reduced.
