Burglaries Oldtown/Ballyboughal area

People around these area's should keep an eye out for a 03 reg white transit van,(name+marking removed)--towbar and red stripe across bottom of rear door's.
The vehicle was seen on private property and sped off at high speed when challenged.
There has been a spate of break ins around this area in particular of late,as usual contact An Garda if you see any activity that may be suspicious,don't assume some one else will report the matter or nothing will be done.... if the Garda don't know ,there's not a lot they can do.

I just became aware that an Garda issue Alerts via Mapalerter similar to this one issued for Waterford...https://www.mapalerter.com/latest/community/item/waterford-city-and-county-council-community-alert-15-04-2016-10458 ... it may be handy for boards members who's homes are out on their own or those living in isolated area's of the county,of which their are many.
