Didn't see anything other than a flicker and a heavy downpour from the car just coming in along the N25 near little island.

    Massive downpour though!

What force field? Cork seems to get every fecking thunderstorm!

Cork has had at least three thunderstorms since I heard my last bang of thunder back in February!

We've had two, while every other storm has been happening up the country

Looks to be just a small isolated thunder cloud. No sign of a repeat.

I wonder will we get any thunderstorms today in the southeast?

I know they're talking about the hot airmass in England and wales today and then this weatherfront coming up from the south and west and over us today and it's predicted to give thunderstorms in the north of England, where they already had flooding yesterday morning.

But I wonder is there a chance for us here in wexford?

Anyone have any updates on tonight in the West, ME said on the radio forecast at 1pm that heavy thundery rain will move in from the South West and West Coast.

    ME forecast 15:48

Cloudy at times this evening in the west and northwest with occasional showers for a time, but elsewhere continuing dry with spells of warm sunshine. Tonight, some coastal showers will affect parts of the west, otherwise it will be dry with clear spells. Something brewing in Biscay, looks like southern U.K could get something tasty later, winds are blowing from Biscay right in their direction.

    Me forecast for here 05:53

Generally dry and sunny this morning but scattered heavy, thundery downpours will develop through the day.
Highest temperatures 18 to 22 degrees in moderate southerly winds.

Swindon Vs Bristol game suspended in England at the moment because of torrential rain and Lightning.

You can see why. Swindon barely visible underneath it all

    CW have amended their forecast.
UPDATE 12:25 UTC Scattered thunderstorms, initially elevated, are developing along the frontal boundary, but the environment remains conducive to severe thunderstorms through this afternoon and evening, perhaps supercells capable of producing large hail and perhaps a (noteworthy) tornado within the SVR area
