Cheque clearance at same branch

    If both accounts concerned are at the same branch, how long does a cheque take to clear if deposited in ATM at the same branch?

    Thanks for contacting us here on Boards.ie
     
    If both accounts are within the same branch they will still have to go through the same clearing process. A Bank of Ireland cheque lodged into a Bank of Ireland account will take 3 working days to clear and a non BOI cheque will take 5 working day to clear.
