Double Tap As Scroll Wheel Press

I've recently upgraded to a Dell XPS 13 from an old Windows 7 Samsung laptop and have noticed a few minor annoyances with the touchpad setup.

The main one is that double tapping the touchpad now behaves as a right-click whereas on all previous laptops this behaved as a scroll wheel press which was very handy for navigating through browsers/applications etc.

Looking through the standard Windows 10 touchpad config there is only an option to enable/disable right-click double-tapping and nothing for changing its behaviour. There is also no additional driver-specific touchpad settings (eg ELAN) to override this unlike on previous laptops.

Anyone have any ideas how to change this? I'm guessing it will involve fiddling around with drivers of some sort.
