    Hi lads,

Not wanting to derail this thread, but would you recommend one of these above the other for someone looking to use this for Saorview/FreeviewHD and video gaming (Xbox One)?

    Thanks,
    F.

    Hey Fingleberries.

    No problem at all.

I like the Panasonic better myself - Easier to use smart features and also better laid out and more sleek.

Both will work for Saorview but FreeviewHD is not available in the South of Ireland. (You may get over spill if you live near the boarder or an area with reception).

Thanks - I really appreciate you taking the time to answer. It looks good, although is the Panasonic a 'Vestel' model?

I'm lucky to live in an overspill area. All those extra channels with no Dish :)

just picking up on your last query - the40CX680 is a Panasonic Panasonic - the last generation 3 and 400 series were OEM models but the CX series are Panasonic and AFAIK ALL the '16/17 models are proper Panasonics ..

    Keep us posted,
