Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Nope. I wasn't a fan of the ending either.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. I think 'You Raise Me' Up is a pompous load of over the top, pretentious twaddle. You disagree and that is fine. But if you look back at the live Twitter reaction on the night, or the newspaper reviews, you'll find that most of them agree with me. :D

I said that it fitted perfectly well into an event which has been acclaimed as possibly RTE's finest ever production.

Harping on about one song you don't like is sort of missing the point.

Another poster stated they didn't like YRMU. You wanted to know what the problem was with it. I stated why I didn't it and you have been arguing your own point every since. So I don't know why you are accusing me of harping on about it, when you were the one who originally asked why people didn't like it in the first place. I am only answering a question you asked.

I have praised several other parts of the show & how it all gelled together, so I am far from missing the point thanks very much. None of us are obligated to like every single item on the show, to the same degree. We are all perfecting entitled to express an opinion on them, without being belittled. Much like the events of 1916 themselves really.

    Over and out.

Eh no, I took issue with you likening it to a Bee Gees number or a Celine Dion tribute show. If you need to make ludicrous comparisons to support your point, maybe you need a better point.
